What kind of woodworker just buys a hammer? There’s a potential infinite rabbit hole of needing a tool and making a tool, and then making the tool to make the tool. With hundreds of dollars of tools, you too can make a block of wood on the end of a stick to hit things with! I use at least one of these hammers every day.

By the way, I’m fully aware that most people would consider them mallets. But “God of Mallets” isn’t nearly as cool.
